Within a core department, your role as a Houseperson will directly influence the guest experience. A Houseperson is responsible for overall cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and replenishing items such as linens, amenities and various supplies. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: cleaning guest corridors, windows, carpets, backstage linen and storage rooms and maintaining supply inventories. As a Houseperson, you will create magical experiences for guests at Disney hotels through the fine details.ResponsibilitiesDaily Tasks include some or all of the following: Taking inventory of Guest supplies, delivering requested items to the Guests room, picking up and delivering Guests' valet laundryTimely trace the status of assigned rooms and finish the work sheetProvides deep cleaning of Guest corridors and carpeted areasTakes inventory in the linen closet of guest suppliesSolve the problems and answer guests’ questions if necessaryBased on business need and Cast Members’ credentials, below tasks will be assigned from time to time.Support guest flow in general, including in different locationsAssist guests with directions, answer questions, provide information and solutions as neededSupport cleaning work areas and guest areasAssist logistics and stockingKeep Shanghai Disney Resort clean by picking trashBasic QualificationsGood communication skills and service mindsetCan accept repetitive indoor room cleaning responsibilitiesCan work in a very fast-paced environment with a heavy workloadHave to work with chemicals and cleaning materials (cleaning supplies and equipment)Working Schedule: Shanghai Disney Resort Cast Members might be scheduled to work shifts on nights, weekends and holidays.
