Job briefWe are looking for a Fulltime management trainee, to assist us as we open our newest outlet in Chinatown, Singapore. As a management trainee, you'll grow in your leadership and operations prowess, while having the time of your life in a unique and fun environment. After all, we're a Backpacker Hostel, so of course you'll meeting people from all over the world.ResponsibilitiesFront desk duties: check in, check out, communicate professionally, hold a conversation, handle admin, etc.Operations: Ensure smooth running of the hostels, which includes handling guests, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.Revenue management: Ensure pricing and occupancy levels are healthy and competitive.Accounts, administration, and customer service: As a management trainee, we will work with your strengths and gradually expose you to work on these areas.Online presence: Managing our OTAs, website, Google and TripAdvisor reviews etc., to optimize our listings.Strategy: Working with the team to think and work through social media, content, graphic design, community engagement, collaborations etc.RequirementsDesire/openness to work in a Backpacker Hostel environment.Related experiences will be a plus.Other informationExpected salary: $2500-3200. (Negotiable)Shift workGood growth opportunities - both in skills and salary.Current Location: Jalan Besar, Boat Quay, Kampong Glam, ChinatownCompany informationWe are a Backpacker's Hostel in Singapore since 2014. Each of our hostel has its own theme.We work as one team, across management, front desk and housekeeping, and across all the properties we run.We are opening our newest outlet: BEAT. 1932 Hostel - a modern heritage 24h capsule hostel that comes with a cafe and bistro, amenities bar, pantry with board games, etc.
