Hotel Innovation Management Lecturer

IIMS College is seeking a qualified and passionate individual to join our academic team as a lecturer for the module Hotel Innovation Management, offered under the Bachelor of International Hospitality Management program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking curriculum that blends innovation, entrepreneurship, and hospitality operations.🏨 Module Summary:Hotel Innovation Management is a multidisciplinary module designed to equip students with the skills to conceptualize innovative hotel projects, conduct feasibility studies, evaluate operational risks, and present industry-ready proposals. The module emphasizes challenge-based learning, collaborative learning, and integration of Industrial Revolution 4.0 technologies.🎓 Key Responsibilities:Deliver lectures and tutorials aligned with the module’s learning outcomes (MLOs 1–4).Guide students through feasibility studies, facility programming, risk evaluation, and final project proposals.Facilitate group-based assessments and provide constructive feedback.Encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration and reflective learning.Evaluate student performance through formative and summative assessments:✅ Qualifications:Master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in hospitality management.Minimum 3 years of teaching or industry experience in hotel operations, innovation, or project development.Familiarity with feasibility analysis, hotel programming, and risk management.Strong communication and mentoring skills.Experience with student-centered and project-based learning approaches.💼 Preferred Attributes:Exposure to hospitality innovation and sustainability practices (SDG8 & SDG9).Experience with simulation tools or digital platforms for hospitality education.Ability to supervise student projects and foster entrepreneurial thinking.
