Reports To: Reservations Manager / Front Office ManagerJob Purpose:The Hotel Reservation Agent is responsible for handling reservations and bookings efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate communication of guest requirements to relevant hotel departments. The role plays a key part in maximizing room occupancy and revenue while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Manage and process guest reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms. Provide accurate information about room types, rates, availability, hotel facilities, and policies. Handle inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally. Update reservation systems with guest information, special requests, and confirmations. Coordinate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Monitor booking trends and assist in maximizing room occupancy and revenue. Maintain detailed records of reservations, cancellations, and no-shows. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to bookings and occupancy. Uphold hotel standards, policies, and procedures at all times. Qualifications & Requirements:Minimum 3 Year ExperiencePrevious experience in hotel reservations, front office, or customer service is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer literacy; familiarity with hotel reservation systems (guestline is preferred. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressureCompetencies:Customer-focused and service-oriented. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
