Strive to continually improve guest and staff satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the hotel. Responsible for achieving Mystery guest reports of 93% or higher as a standard.Effective hands-on day to day management and problem solving both front and back of house operations.Liaising with all reporting managers and delegating key aspects of the role.Effective communication with internal and external stake holders.Responsible for the departmental budgets, ensuring that costs and performance levels are met. Responsible for departmental policies and procedures, ensure consistency of service Responsible for the departmental budgets, Execute action plans on time and budget to support business improvements and focus on optimising profit, minimising margins and promote exceptional experience(s) for member, guest, staff.Adhere to Soho House & Co company policies for food safety, allergy procedure and creating an overall safe and inviting space for members, guests, staff by partnering with Health & Safety leaders and following local, government and regional compliance and abiding by legal standards.Work with the London Revenue Manager to review hotel performance by maximizing room occupancy at the best available rates.Attend weekly leadership meetings to discuss best practice, performance & current challenges in the department that need to be addressed and resolved.Manage staff performance issues in compliance with Soho House policies and procedures. Follow the Soho House safety procedures and carry out any emergency procedures when and where necessary.Influential leader and decision maker that supports, guides, develops and implements policies, procedure and systems to improve business operations, service, retention and over all experiences that have been outlined by the General Manager.Conduct quarterly coffee chat appraisals, Mid-year reviews and annual appraisalsAssist the P&D Team with recruitment to fill vacancies. Take responsibility for the Induction and coaching of new Team members.
