Location: DubaiDepartment: OperationsReports To: CEOType: Full-timePosition Overview: As the Operation & Inventory Manager at a fast-paced fashion e-commerce brand, you will lead end-to-end operational workflows that ensure smooth order fulfillment, exceptional customer experience, and accurate inventory control. You will play a key role in driving efficiency across our supply chain, optimizing logistics and shipping, and ensuring that our warehouse and inventory systems keep pace with the company’s growth and seasonal cycles. Key Responsibilities: 1. Logistics & ShippingManage daily e-commerce fulfillment operations, ensuring all customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time.
Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, couriers, and international shipping vendors. Optimize shipping costs and lead times, balancing speed and cost efficiency. Oversee return logistics and ensure smooth reverse logistics operations. Ensure all shipments comply with domestic and international shipping regulations and fashion-specific handling standards. 2. Customer Service OperationsCollaborate with the Customer Experience team to resolve operational queries related to order delays, stock availability, and returns. Analyze customer complaints related to operations and implement root cause fixes. Partner with marketing/sales to plan for promotional spikes, ensuring operations are prepared to scale up during sales and new drops.
Establish and track KPIs such as order fulfillment time, delivery success rate, and return rate due to operational issues. 3. Inventory ManagementOwn the accuracy and integrity of inventory data across warehouses and online platforms (e. g. , Shopify, ERP). Oversee inventory replenishment strategies and align stock levels with demand forecasts and fashion seasonality. Conduct monthly cycle counts and quarterly stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising teams to align inbound shipments with stock plans. Track slow-moving and deadstock inventory, and support strategies to liquidate or reallocate. Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years experience in operations, inventory, or supply chain management, preferably in e-commerce or fashion retail. Strong knowledge of e-commerce logistics, warehousing, and customer fulfillment. Proficient in inventory platforms (e. g. , Shopify, NetSuite, Cin7, DEAR Systems) and Excel/Google Sheets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and coordination abilities across departments and external vendors. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth, and seasonal environment. Bonus if you have: Experience with international shipping and customs compliance in fashion. Background in managing operations during flash sales, influencer drops, or high-volume peak seasons.
Familiarity with sustainable shipping practices or ethical supply chain principles. Salary: AED 6,000 to AED 12,000 depending on experience level.
