This role is all about making sure our residents feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant, you'll be a key part of creating a clean, uplifting, and homelike environment for residents, their whānau, and fellow team members.Your Day-to-day Activities Will IncludeEnsuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, laundry, and kitchen facilitiesLaundering, folding and returning residents’ clothing and linens with care and attentionLabelling, mending and maintaining residents' personal laundry itemsSupporting infection control measures and health and safety proceduresBuilding friendly, respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needsThis is a casual role, working on an as and when basis. QualificationsYou’ll be a great fit if you:You have experience in housekeeping ideally in healthcare or hopsiatlityTake pride in your work and care about the small detailsAre physically fit and comfortable working on your feetHave a genuine interest in aged care (no experience necessary — full training provided)At Summerset, we believe diversity strengthens our team and enriches the care we provide.
