Join us in advancing our mission to extend lives and expand possibilities.We are looking for an experienced HPLC Chemist and Raw Materials Lead to oversee the daily operations of our HPLC laboratory ensuring efficient and accurate analysis of multiple product types at various stages of our manufacturing process from raw materials through to finished product testing.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following :Test Method ValidationImplementation of new methodsManagement of routine release testingManagement of non-routine testingSupport Product Development of new solutionsInterpret and report resultsCollaborate with various groups on-site (such as QA, Validations, Product Development and Manufacturing teams)Track and manage supplies of HPLC laboratory supplies, reagents and equipmentEnsure procedures are accurate and up to dateEnsure the continuation of cross-training within the HPLC laboratoryEnsure the maintenance of a safe working environment for all personnelManage HPLC laboratory budget, track expenses and ensure cost-effective operationsSkills RequiredLead, mentor and evaluate both junior and senior HPLC ChemistsEnsure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices and regulatory requirementsMaintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance.Strong technical knowledge of HPLC instrumentation and method optimisation techniques.Strong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and lead a team of qualified Chemists.Familiarity with Ph. Eur.
