We are seeking a talented individual to join our MCS(Multinational Client Servcie) Department at Mercer. This role will be based in Korea.This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual from a consulting, HR and/or M&A background to move into a dynamic consulting environment supporting the Asia M&A Advisory Services team in the delivery of HR M&A consulting projects. You will be involved in working on Global, Regional and Local M&A related projects ranging across the entire deal cycle with a focus on people advisory.We Will Count On You ToManage HR projects and lead working-level consultantsPresent project direction and manage progress, along with quality control of the project outputHR Project proposal/marketing support Provide job-related training and guidance to department or project membersLead large-scale HR due diligence projects and post-merger integration/standup projects simultaneously and independently to ensure the successful delivery of client solutions.Provide advisory support in HR due diligence on multi-country deals and post-merger integration (e.g. designing retention programs, employee transfer, benefits stand-up, salary structure and incentive plan harmonization, HR programs implementation, culture, organization structure design, employee communication, etc.).Oversee and work closely with M&A consultants to deliver on subject matter expertise throughout the projects.Collaborate with colleagues across different lines of business and geographies to prepare client deliverables on time and within budget.Take part in client-facing activities to ensure the closure of value-added opportunities for clients.Support client-facing business development activities to identify growth opportunities for the company (e.g. research, development of prospects/offerings/proposals/Engagement Letters/SOWs, managing other M&A protocols, etc.).What You Need To Have8 to 12 years of HR consulting experiences Or Has experiences of planning/operating HR system for a large companyTechnical depth in compensation and benefits design and management principles.Strong domain knowledge and a good understanding of the whole spectrum of issues within HR or/and acquisition and post-merger integration.Excellent written/ verbal communication skills in Korean and English.Ability to manage large-scale projects to ensure the successful delivery of client solutions.Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks.What makes you stand out?A logical and structured thinker with strong synthesis skills to deliver insights and conclusions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds.Advanced Microsoft Office skills especially in Excel and PowerPoint.Why Join Our TeamWe help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.Mercer, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is a global leader in helping clients realize their investment objectives, shape the future of work and enhance health and retirement outcomes for their people.
