HR Generalist - Contract Coverage

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama on a contract basis. This role focuses on managing key human resources functions such as employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes and systems, along with the ability to navigate employee needs with professionalism.Responsibilities:• Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving workplace conflicts effectively.• Administer onboarding processes to ensure new hires transition smoothly into their roles.• Manage benefits administration, including enrollment and employee inquiries.• Maintain and update HR records in HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.• Collaborate with management to support employee engagement initiatives and organizational goals.• Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.• Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.• Utilize UKG Pro software to manage HR-related tasks efficiently.• Monitor compliance with employment laws and regulations, making necessary updates as needed.• Prepare and deliver reports related to HR functions and metrics.• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.• Strong expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution.• Familiarity with onboarding processes and benefits administration.• Proficiency in HRIS systems, including UKG Pro.• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.• Excellent organizational and communication skills.• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.TalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
