About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and ambitious HR Graduate to join our growing team at Smarttech247, a leading cybersecurity company. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of HR functions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.You’ll play a key role in supporting our people strategy across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and HR operations - contributing to meaningful work that helps protect organisations globally.This is a 24-month contract designed to support early-career HR professionals in building strong foundations and practical experience in the field.Location: Cork, Ireland (Hybrid – 2–3 days on site per week)Contract Type: Fixed-Term (24 Months)Reports To: HR ManagerHow the hiring process works:Please do not reach out directly to the hiring manager as all applications are reviewed via the application portal. If successful, we will outline the full interview process, which may include a combination of remote and on-site interviews. Depending on the role, a task or presentation may also be part of the process. Throughout, we aim to ensure a positive and transparent candidate experience, keeping you informed at each stage. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle - from hiring and onboarding to offboarding.Assist with coordinating recruitment campaigns and interview scheduling.Support the development and delivery of HR initiatives, projects and internal communications.Help maintain HR systems, records and reporting accuracy.Liaise with internal departments and employees to support day-to-day HR queries and initiatives.Contribute to company-wide events, engagement activities and training sessions.Other ad-hoc duties where required.Required Skills & ExperienceA HR-related degree (graduated within the last 2 years).Strong organisational and communication skills with high attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems and processes.Available to commute to our Cork office 2–3 days per week.DesirableWorking towards or already CIPD qualified.Prior internship or placement experience in a HR or people-focused role.Benefits: Pension scheme.
