Duration: As soon as possible until April.Location: Your main location will be Hellerup, but you’ll be expected to frequently work on-site at our production facilities in Kvistgaard.In our People Experience team our HR Legal Counsel is going on paternity leave for 5 months and we are looking for a temporary replacement from December to April.If you enjoy navigating complex labour law challenges and turning them into practical solutions, then you might be the person we are looking for.The role as HR Legal PartnerYou will be responsible for labour law in Denmark, supported by the Head of People Experience. You will ensure legal matters are handled with confidence and quality and in compliance with legislation, internal politics and guidelines. You will work closely with managers in the business areas, our HR Business Partners and collaborate with employee representatives and unions. You will be gaining hands-on experience and responsibility from day one.The workplace will be at our production facilities in Kvistgaard in North Zealand combined with some days working in Hellerup (headquarter).Key ResponsibilitiesHandle individual cases: Performance, warnings, termination, dispute resolutionAdvise management in labor law (e.g. contracts, leave, sickness, collective agreements, working time, allowances)Ensure HR practices are aligned with legislation, agreements, and internal policiesWork closely with managers and support negotiations of local collective agreementsDraft or update contract templates and HR policies – locally and globallyContribute or lead to HR projectsCollaborate across P&O and help drive initiatives forwardQualificationsYou bring solid expertise in labour law and thrive in dynamic environments where practical solutions and strong collaboration are key. Ideally, you have experience from a pharmaceutical or manufacturing setting with unions and collective agreements.Strong knowledge of Danish labour law and collective agreements (preferably DI Industrial Agreement) and preferably international experience working with external legal/HR advisorsRelevant academic background (e.g., cand.jur., cand.merc.jur., cand.merc.HRM) or equivalent practical experienceExperience advising managers and employees with pragmatic, business-oriented solutionsProven negotiation and communication skillsProject management experience is a plusFluent in Danish and EnglishSkilled in HR systems and proficient in MS OfficeAs a person you are structured, proactive, and curious, with a strong drive to understand and improve how things work. As a hands-on practitioner with a “go-do” attitude, you combine a sharp business mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving.Our People Experience TeamOur People Experience team consists of 12 employees in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and the United States.
