We support major infrastructure projects across the country, providing expertise and delivering projects to international standards of safety, quality and performance.Position OverviewThe Human Resources Officer will provide support across all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training coordination, and HR administration. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career HR professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment and growing team.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and onboardingAssist with job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding processEmployee relationsAct as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on policies and proceduresHR administrationMaintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Canadian employment Standards and lawsSupport benefits administration and assist with payroll coordinationTraining and developmentCoordinate training sessions and track employee’s development activitiesCompliance and reportingSupport adherence to employment legislation and company policiesPrepare HR reports and maintain HRIS data integrityQualification And SkillsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field2-3 years of HR experience (internships or co-op experience considered)Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practicesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentialityProficiency in MS office; experience with HRIS is an assetProblem-solving mindset and attention to detailOpen mindedness and cultural awarenessAbility to work collaboratively and independentlyWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package (including health, dental, and RRSP matching)Opportunities for professional development and career growthA collaborative and inclusive work environmentFlexible work arrangementsInterested?
