Job Description

About Radio Holland Radio Holland is a leading international company specializing in high-tech communication, navigation, and automation solutions for the maritime industry. With offices around the world and a strong presence across Europe, we support our customers 24/7 with innovative technology and reliable service. The role As HR Project Specialist, you play a central role in driving key global HR improvement projects that shape the future of Radio Holland. Working closely with the Global People Director and the regional People Managers around the world, you translate strategy into clear project plans, coordinate across time zones, and ensure milestones are met. Your initial focus will be on implementing a new global HR system and setting up a new Learning & Development structure — but more global HR projects will follow. This role combines structure and drive: you coordinate stakeholders across functions and countries, track progress, prepare communications, and help make change happen. If you like turning plans into results, are comfortable managing multiple priorities, and enjoy working internationally, this role will suit you perfectly. What success looks like HR projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, with clear governance and documentation. Project plans, risk logs, and stakeholder updates are well maintained and transparent. The new HR system (HRIS) is implemented successfully — users are trained, data is clean, and adoption is high. The Learning & Development framework is defined and rolled out, with clear ownership and tools for managers. Cross-functional alignment is smooth: Finance, IT, and regional HR teams know what is expected and when. You build strong collaboration with regional People Managers and project stakeholders, ensuring local realities are reflected in global solutions. You apply solid project-management methods — clear plans, milestones, and risk tracking — to keep projects on course and deliver measurable outcomes. You bring structure, follow-up, and drive — helping the HR team move from ideas to execution. Key responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and monitor HR projects under the guidance of the Global People Director. Develop and maintain project documentation (plans, timelines, deliverables, risk logs, reports). Support the implementation of the new HR system (vendor coordination, data migration, testing, training rollout). Prepare project communications, presentations, and status updates for leadership and stakeholders. Coordinate input from global HR, Finance, IT, and regional teams; ensure actions are followed up. Set up and track HR project KPIs and milestones; highlight dependencies and propose solutions. Support the design and rollout of the Learning & Development framework (processes, tools, reporting). Contribute to policy and process harmonization across HR areas. Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer for all implemented improvements. What you bring Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–6 years of experience in HR, project coordination, or process improvement (preferably in an international setting). Proven project-management skills — able to set up structured project plans, define milestones, and monitor progress. Experience working in cross-functional and international settings; comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders across countries. Solid understanding of HR processes; experience with HR systems or HRIS projects is a strong plus. Skilled in planning, stakeholder communication, and project documentation. Comfortable managing detail while keeping overview — structured, analytical, and proactive. Excellent command of English; Dutch is a plus. Positive energy and a collaborative mindset — you enjoy working across cultures and time zones. What we offer A central role in transforming HR at an international company with a strong maritime heritage. The opportunity to lead tangible improvement projects with global impact. Room for professional growth in HR project management, systems, and process excellence. A supportive and ambitious HR team that values initiative and ownership. Competitive salary, solid benefits, and flexibility to work partly from home.
