We accomplish this through an intense commitment to safety, quality service, excellence, and partnerships.Job DescriptionProviding administrative support in the areas of employee recruitment, hiring, retention, and evaluationProcessing, verifying, and maintaining documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classificationsProcessing and reviewing employment applications in the Applicant Tracking System in order to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicantsExamining employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actionsRequesting information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references in order to determine applicants' employment acceptabilityResponding to employee, manager and Human Resource team requests and escalating issues as appropriateProviding support for employee on-boarding as well as employee exit meetingsAssisting with data management and file maintenance to include day to day data entry and employee data maintenance in the Human Resource Information SystemCreating and processing Personnel Action Forms for your assigned service siteProviding on-boarding administrative support, and arranging for in-house and external training activitiesEnsuring compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulationsOther duties as assignedQualifications2+ years in a Human Resource or Recruiting roleStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to prioritize and multi-taskDemonstrated sense of urgency in a fast-paced environmentAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionFocus on meeting and exceeding client expectationsPreferred:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related fieldSHRM-CP or HRCI-PHRAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Equus Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce development services in North America.
