NES Fircroft is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse worldwide client base within the oil & gas industry.Job Title: HRIS AnalystLocation: Calgary, ABLength: 12 Month contract to startRotation: Mon-Fri in officeDescription:The client’s Enterprise Data and IT team is seeking a Contract HRIS Analyst to support and enhance its Workday platform. Reporting to the Manager of HRIS, you will provide system configuration, maintenance, and support across multiple Workday modules, ensuring data integrity, security, and alignment with business needs.Key Responsibilities:Plan, test, and support Workday releases and maintenance activities.Configure and maintain various Workday modules (HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Talent Management).Provide daily user support, troubleshooting, and data corrections.Ensure data security, compliance, and accuracy within Workday.Identify and implement process and system improvements.Participate in testing, validation, and project-related work.Support SOX compliance and integration standards with Enterprise Architecture.Provide after-hours support as needed for urgent issues.Qualifications:Legally entitled to work in Canada.Calgary-based and able to work in-office.Post-secondary education in HR or IT.8+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years in a Workday-focused business systems analyst role.Strong technical and functional Workday expertise with configuration experience.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.Understanding of HR policies, compliance, and best practices.Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, SAP integrations (master data and payroll).Apply here or send your resume to: trevor.parlee@nesfircroft.com
