Your JobKoch is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our EMEA Payroll Team in Katowice.In this role, you’ll manage payroll operations for several Koch companies in Poland, collaborating closely with our HR, Finance, and external payroll partners.We are particularly looking for someone with proven experience in processing payroll for production employees in accordance with Polish labor law.What You Will DoCoordinate and process payroll for Koch entities in Poland, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with Polish labor and tax regulations.Work closely with the EMEA Payroll Team, HR, Finance, and external vendors to deliver excellent customer service.Provide guidance to employees, supervisors, and HR on payroll, benefits, and tax-related matters.Prepare HR reports, analyses, and statutory documentation (GUS, PPK).Support the Finance team with payroll-related data and reconciliations.Act as a point of contact for employee compensation and system inquiries.Participate in local and global payroll improvement projects.Continuously enhance payroll and compliance processes.Provide backup support to team members and collaborate across Koch companies in Poland.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Proven experience in payroll processing, including payroll for production employees in accordance with Polish labor law, with solid knowledge of payroll calculations.Strong understanding of Time & Attendance systems and related legal requirements.Knowledge of Polish Social Security, tax, and labor legislation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Good command of English (written and spoken).Independent, self-driven, and customer-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility.Open to learning and continuous improvement.What Will Put You AheadExperience in a shared service environment.Familiarity with financial processes and General Ledger mapping.Experience working with ADP or Dayforce systems.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
