HSE Engineer (6-Month Extendable Contract)

We are currently in the process of hiring the above vacancy, for a renowned organization, based in Abu Dhabi.Location: Zirku Island, Abu DhabiCompany: A Leading Multinational OrganizationSalary: AED 15,000 per month (Food & Accommodation Provided)We are looking for an experienced HSE Engineer to join our client’s team on Zirku Island. This is a 6-month contract (extendable) opportunity with a reputable multinational company in the oil & gas sector.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support HSE initiatives across construction, fabrication, installation, and commissioning projects.Develop and implement HSE, welfare, and emergency response plans in compliance with company and ADNOC standards.Conduct regular HSE audits, risk assessments (PTW/WMS), and incident investigations.Deliver training and awareness sessions on HSE topics, including H2S control and behavioral safety.Supervise and guide HSE teams (HSE Officers, Hygiene Officers, etc.).Ensure compliance with HSE management systems, ISO standards, and legislative requirements.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or HSE discipline.Minimum 8–10 years of HSE experience in oil & gas EPC or petrochemical projects.Must hold NEBOSH IGC or equivalent (subject to ADNOC approval).Additional certifications such as Lead Auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001, Incident Investigation Techniques, and other HSE trainings will be an added advantage.Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills with proficiency in English (written and verbal).Why ApplyWork with a globally recognized multinational organization.Competitive tax-free salary with food and accommodation provided.Opportunity for contract extension based on performance and project needs.Please note, we check all job applications & only suitable candidates will be contacted within 05 working days.
