Saudization focus vacancy : Role targeting Saudi talent to support SaudizationJob FunctionThe HSE Officer will oversee HSE and training processes, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. This role involves conducting audits, delivering training, and maintaining documentation while actively promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily HSE operations, including auditing, training, and updating documentation and records.Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation of Saudi Arabia (SAIS – SAF directives) to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.Lead security guards to implement security plans and protocols in accordance with legal requirements (SAIS - SEC directives).Follow on civil defense requirements for the facility including & not limited to (compliance certificates for the facilities, life safety requirements, fire fighting requirements.Actively engage with staff at all levels to influence, motivate, and promote adherence to HSE systems and processes.Conduct internal HSE audits, including interactive HSE walks, MHE driver assessments, and safety inspections.Deliver internal training sessions, including inductions, toolbox talks, and operational training in collaboration with buddy trainers.Liaise and coordinate external audits for the HSE management systems.Oversee the on-site induction process for new employees and contractors.Assist with registering new equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.Review HSE documentation and ensure all records are up to date.Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement appropriate control measures.Stay updated on local and international HSE regulations, ensuring company compliance and updating policies accordingly.Promote a culture of safety through behavior-based safety programs and initiatives.Actively lead investigations of incidents, accidents and near misses, define root causation and recommend corrective and preventive actions.Keeping records of all HSSE related documentation as per company standards and legal requirements.Respond to Mawani and authority letters and requirements in coordination with legal and HSSE team in DPW P&T.Upkeep emergency response plans, lead emergencies and guide the management team during emergency handling.Key Qualifications & SkillsRelevant HSE experience (minimum 3years of experience or a degree in health and safety).MUST HAVE approved by Saudi OHS accreditation program (KAWADER).Previous experience in a warehousing environment preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong teamwork, leadership, and presentation/reporting skills.
