Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:Review all submitted event and exhibition floor plans.Conduct initial and final reviews of submitted floor plans.Approve event floor plans that comply with DWTC Health & Safety Rules and Regulations.Monitor event setups on-site as per approved floor plans and enforce HSE rules and regulations.Update DWTC and other destination master floor plans as required.Prepare compliance checklists to verify adherence to approved floor plans.Conduct site inspections during the three project phases: Build-Up, Opening, and Tear-Down.Discuss with planners on-site to advise organizers regarding rectifications and compliance.Upload approved event floor plans into the system.Generate inspection and non-compliance reports.Reconcile monthly summaries of floor plan reviews and approvals.Formulate, update, and develop Health & Safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.Ensure updates are aligned with DWTC, DM, DCD, DTCM, and other local or international standards.Follow up on stand completion and ensure halls are ready before opening.Conduct pre-opening checks to ensure full compliance.Assist the Venues Infrastructure team with operational matters and other assigned duties.Ensure all duties are performed in line with quality standards, security protocols, and Health & Safety requirements.Requirements:Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent certification courses. Minimum of 2 year experience in the event industryProficiency in AutoCADFluent in English (verbal and written)Computer literacy essentialProficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and EmailReport WritingIOSH certified
