The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards in health, safety, and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation, company policies, and relevant ISO standards.Reporting to: Group Head of Operations Hours: The role offers 20-25 hours per week.Days: Monday-FridayESSENTIAL CRITERIARecognised third level Health, Safety Qualification i.e., BSc in Health and Safety.Highly proficient with computers, IT systems and Microsoft Office.Excellent written & verbal English and have the communication skills and the ability to influence Safety performance.Understanding in Health & Safety Incident InvestigationAbility to communicate with peers both written and verbal.Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.DESIRABLE CRITERIAExcellent knowledge of relevant Construction related HSEQ requirements.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver internal and external communications to all stakeholders in a timely manner.Promote and maintain a positive HSEQ culture and safe work environment in conjunction with the Wtech Fire Group Health & Safety Statement.Ensure all written documentation is accurate, timely and legible, keeping all records up to date at all times.Carry out Risk Assessments and prepare other HSEQ Documentation.Responsible for maintaining Employee & Subcontractor Training Records & Training Register.Ensure compliance with Irish Legislation, Regulations & Codes of Practice. Regulatory.Preparation & delivery of Toolbox Talks & Safety BriefingsCarry out internal HSEQ Audits.Ensure compliance with and assist in the preparation of ISO & 45001 Audits as well as other External Audits.Coordinate and manage company induction and training programs.Assist or conduct accident investigation reports and communicate findings to project management.Implement waste reduction and recycling programs in line with project policies and procedures.
