HSSE Manager - Water

🛡️ Hiring: HSSE Manager – Water Desalination Plant📍 Jubail, Saudi ArabiaLead the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) function for a major water desalination facility in Jubail. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and sustainable operations while embedding a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the plant.What you’ll do:Lead the HSSE and Security teams to ensure effective implementation of health, safety, environmental, and security programs.Oversee site security operations, ensuring personnel and assets are safeguarded at all times.Act as the main liaison with local authorities, regulators, and external stakeholders on HSSE and emergency response matters.Develop, implement, and maintain HSSE management systems aligned with international standards (ISO, OSHA, NFPA, etc.).Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.Investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.Ensure compliance with all national and international health, safety, environmental, and security regulations.Manage emergency preparedness, drills, and crisis response procedures across the plant.Provide HSSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and supervisors.Promote a proactive safety and security culture across all departments and operations.What we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental, or related field).10+ years’ experience in HSSE management within water, utilities, or industrial plant operations.Strong understanding of Saudi and international HSSE laws, standards, and best practices.Recognized safety certification (e.g. NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent) required.Proven leadership in managing HSSE and Security teams across large-scale facilities.Experience developing and implementing risk management frameworks and emergency response plans.Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Fluent in English; Arabic an advantage.📩 Apply now and take the lead in driving world-class health, safety, security, and environmental performance at Jubail’s flagship desalination plant.
