Someone who gets sterile manufacturing, hazardous materials, and the realities of running a safe site every single shift.What You’ll Be DoingOwn the site’s HSSE agenda and align it with business goals and audit readinessBuild and enforce HSSE policies and SOPs specific to beta-lactam operations (penicillin G, 6-APA)Lead site risk programs: HIRA, HAZOP/What-If, job safety analysis, permit to work, and MOCEnsure end-to-end compliance with Omani laws and global standards (OSHA, EPA, WHO GMP)Govern hazardous materials: segregation, labeling, storage, transport, disposal, and vendor oversightRun environmental monitoring and reporting for air, effluent, emissions, and waste streamsDrive incident management: reporting, root cause analysis, CAPA, and verification of effectivenessMaintain emergency readiness: drills, spill control, fire protection systems, and business continuity inputsDeliver role-based HSSE training, onboarding, refreshers, and competency matrices for employees and contractorsTrack and report leading/lagging indicators (near misses, TRIR, LTIFR, audit scores) with clean dashboardsWhat You Bring5–7 years of HSSE experience in chemical or similar manufacturing; pharmaceutical and hazardous materials exposure requiredStrong working knowledge of Omani HSSE regulations plus international standards (OSHA, EPA, WHO GMP)Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or related fieldHSSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or CIH (essential)Proven record building HSSE programs, conducting investigations, and closing audits with zero surprisesSharp analytical problem-solving, meticulous documentation, and high accountabilityConfident communicator who can influence executives, regulators, and shopfloor teams alikeSelf-driven, steady under pressure, and comfortable working independentlyThis is a high-impact, independent role with clear visibility and the opportunity to shape a best-in-class safety culture.Mindfield – Making a DifferenceApply via mindfieldresources.com
