GJK is a fast-paced, dynamic business in an exciting growth phase.This is a great role for a recent HR graduate or an early-career professional who’s eager to build their experience across the full employee lifecycle in a supportive, hands-on environment.You’ll work closely with a collaborative team and gain exposure to all areas of People & Culture from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, training, and engagement initiatives.As you’ll be in regular contact with senior executives, site teams, and external partners, professionalism and strong communication skills are essential.Primary areas of responsibility and accountability include, but are not limited to:Lead employee onboarding processes using UKG Ready.Coordinate recruitment processes, from job postings to offers and contracts.Ensure accuracy in maintaining employee records and promptly handle employee changes.Support our Operations Teams with general advice on employment conditions (Awards), compliance with legislation.Support with development and roll out of internal communication, training, and policies that aligns with our brand to elevate performance across the business.Maintain HRIS records and generate detailed HR reports as needed.Help the team with planning and organisation for all team meetings and events, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout.Assist with People & Culture projects and process improvement initiatives, including HR system enhancements, onboarding automation, and engagement programs.Manage wage subsidy programs in partnership with external employment providers, ensuring timely claim submission, tracking, and compliance.Ensure compliance with all employment legislation, Fair Work obligations, and internal company policies, maintaining documentation and audit readiness.Undertake supplementary P&C tasks as required.Requirements:Recent graduate or early-career professional in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentAuthentic, engaging, and passionate about building a career in People & Culture.Some knowledge of employment legislation, Modern Awards, or HR systems will be highly regarded (training provided).Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using HRIS or digital platforms.
