Job Description

Location: Klang, SelangorOur company is a well-established manufacturing company with over 160 employees, serving both local and international markets. As part of their continuous growth, they are seeking a proactive and experienced HRA Manager who speaks, read and write mandarin, to oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources and Administration functions.This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring effective people management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.What You’ll DoAs the HRA Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving all HR and administration functions to support business goals.Key responsibilities include:1. Human Resources ManagementLead and manage HR functions including recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and training & development.Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives.Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act, OSHA, and related statutory requirements.Oversee HR audits, inspections, and statutory reporting.2. Recruitment & Manpower PlanningPlan and manage manpower needs across all departments (production, maintenance, quality, logistics, etc.).Handle end-to-end recruitment for both local and foreign workers, including permit renewals and FWCMS documentation.Liaise with government authorities and external recruiters to ensure compliance and timely onboarding.3. Employee Relations & EngagementFoster a harmonious working environment and handle grievances, counselling, and disciplinary issues.Coordinate domestic inquiries and disciplinary processes.Lead employee engagement and welfare initiatives to promote morale and retention.4. Compensation & BenefitsOversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in attendance, overtime, and statutory deductions.Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRDF requirements.Conduct annual salary reviews, bonus exercises, and job grading analyses.Monitor manpower costs and support HR budgeting activities.5. Training & DevelopmentIdentify training needs and prepare annual training plans.Coordinate internal and external training programs (technical, safety, and soft skills).Evaluate training outcomes and maintain HRDF documentation.6. Administration & General AffairsManage plant administration including security, canteen, hostel, transportation, and office maintenance.Oversee purchasing, vendor management, and facility improvement projects.Ensure proper documentation and control of administrative records and licenses.7. Health, Safety & ComplianceCollaborate with the Safety & Health Officer to enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance.Drive safety awareness programs and participate in safety committee meetings.Oversee workplace hygiene, PPE issuance, and emergency preparedness plans.8. HR Reporting & Continuous ImprovementPrepare monthly HR & Admin reports (headcount, absenteeism, turnover, training, etc.).Analyze HR data to support management decisions.Continuously enhance HR and administrative processes for greater efficiency.Who You AreWe are seeking a hands-on and people-oriented professional with a strong background in manufacturing HR operations.Must-Haves:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related disciplineMinimum 5–8 years of HR & Admin experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirementsExperience managing foreign workers and liaising with government authoritiesStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficient in HR systems and software (experience with MYOB or OSTENDO is an advantage)Able to work independently, multitask, and support production operationsChinese language proficiency is a must (to communicate effectively with management and factory employees)Why Should You Apply?Opportunity to lead the HR & Admin function in a growing manufacturing setupWork closely with top management and play a key role in shaping HR strategiesExposure to both local and cross-border reporting (direct reporting to CFO based overseas)Stable working environment with long-term career potentialCompetitive remunerationAdditional Information:Reports to: CFO (based in China)Manages: 1 HR ExecutiveWorking Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pmInterview Rounds: Physical interviews with CFO and CEO
