Job Description

HR Business Partner – Retail (Field-Based, Permanent)*Prior multi-site experience is essential* This full-time, field-based role supports retail operations across Ireland. The HR Business Partner will deliver people-focused initiatives that enhance team performance, strengthen leadership, and support business growth. Key Responsibilities:Partner with Store and Area Managers to provide expert advice on employee relations, learning and development, engagement, and retention.Deliver face-to-face and virtual coaching on employee relations, fostering confidence and capability among retail leaders.Support management development and onboarding through structured learning programmes and training initiatives.Act as the main HR contact for retail employees, offering timely guidance throughout their employment journey.Contribute to HR strategy by analysing trends, gathering insights, and developing practical, scalable HR solutions.Build strong relationships across the retail network, serving as a trusted advisor on all HR matters.Prepare and present regular HR reports and insights to senior stakeholders.Manage a busy workload effectively, maintaining clear communication and strong organisation in a fast-paced field role. Education, Qualifications & Skills:Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline (essential).3+ years’ HR experience in retail, multi-site, or service industries.CIPD membership (full or partial) is an advantage.Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday or similar).Familiarity with digital and virtual learning tools.Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.Skilled in managing complex employee relations cases with sensitivity and confidence.Independent decision-maker with strong interpersonal skills.Full clean driving licence required (extensive travel across Ireland).
