We are focussed on growth by further expanding our digital offerings, branch footprint and partnerships.  Human Resources - Co-Ordinator -Grade SupervisorWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources - Co-Ordinator to join our Human Resources team.

He/She will play a key role in supporting HR initiatives and programs to ensure the smooth operation of the department and the overall success of the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of HR functions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. He/She will play a vital role in supporting the HR team and the organization as a whole. This position reports to Senior Manager/Manager Human Resources and is primarily responsible for performing the following functions: Location:

Downton Toronto Office -on site attendance 5 days per week Job Description In this position you will required to provide a high level of support and guidance in a variety of HR initiatives and areas such as onboarding, employee relations, engagement ,policy as well as process implementation while ensuring alignment with the strategic initiatives of the Bank. Primary Responsibilities will include but not limiting to·      Facilitate day-to-day HR support and act as a main contact for all HR requests. ·      Address employee inquiries as needed, which may include policies & procedures, benefits, time off and leave of absence questions.

·     Ensure HRIS system reflects accurate and up-to-date information. ·    Maintain, audit and update HR database·    Prepare and consolidate HR correspondence and related reports·     Assist in maintaining employee personal records including personnel, insurance, medical, training, and disciplinary actions. ·      Record and Maintain Employee Time and attendance. ·      Provide benefits administration and payroll support on a semi-monthly basis·      Assist with the deployment and tracking of all health and safety programs·      Support with full-cycle of recruitment including preparing job postings, sourcing relevant sites, managing social media efforts, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and completing reference checks.

·      Process and assist in full employee life cycle from onboarding to separation. ·      Participate in other HR projects and administrative tasks as required·      Coordinate training programs and initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge·      Ensure compliance with federal employment laws and regulations. ·      Assist in the development and implementation of compliance initiatives and processes. ·      Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly. Suggested Qualifications Education and Experience·      Bachelor’s degree required with focus in Human Resources Management.

·      1 -2 year of HR work experience in a corporate environment (preferably in Banking and Finance Industry) Knowledge·      Sound understanding of all human resources management principles andBest practices. ·      Knowledge in HR functional areas.
