About the Company: A leading national professional services firm is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join their Human Resources team in Calgary. This role supports a high-performing, compliance-driven environment and plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless HR operations, employee experience, and systems accuracy.About the Role: The HR Coordinator will oversee the full employee life cycle — from onboarding and offboarding to data integrity and compliance support. This position requires a blend of strong administrative skills, sound judgment, and familiarity with employment standards in Alberta and across Canada.Responsibilities:Coordinate and prepare employee documentation including offers, role changes, terminations, and ad hoc employment lettersSupport the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a smooth and professional employee experienceMaintain and update records in the HRIS (preferably UKG / UltiPro) and other internal systemsManage HR calendars, scheduling, and administrative support for reviews, compensation, and budget cyclesAct as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, escalating as appropriate with professionalism and confidentialityCoordinate HR-related events and recognition initiatives (e.g., wellness, DEI, and employee engagement)Process education and wellness reimbursements, ensuring compliance with firm and vendor policiesPartner closely with internal stakeholders to uphold employment standards and HR best practices Qualifications:Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline3–5 years of HR coordination experience, ideally within a professional services or legal environmentWorking knowledge of Alberta and Canadian employment standards legislationStrong HRIS experience — UKG / UltiPro or equivalent preferredExcellent communication, organization, and document management skillsHigh attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Required Skills: Strong administrative skills, sound judgment, familiarity with employment standards in Alberta and across Canada.Preferred Skills: Experience in a professional services or legal environment, strong HRIS experience — UKG / UltiPro or equivalent preferred.Pay range and compensation package: This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a detail-oriented, confidential, and service-driven environment.Equal Opportunity Statement: The firm is committed to diversity and inclusivity.```
