What's the role?As HR Director for the the Swedish Market Organisation you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a clear strategic people vision for the MO with both the local and regional leadership teams.What You'll doYour ResponsibilitiesCreating a clear strategic people vision for MO Sweden with Leadership Team of Sweden and Region/Hub HR teams. Implementing this strategic vision with milestones and follow up and close collaboration with all pertinent stakeholders. Responsible for strategic resource and headcount planning for the market organization in conjunction with the local leadership team. This also includes understanding the skills, competencies and local market conditions to proactively inform the leadership team of how key workforce planning initiatives will proceed. Leading an HR department ensuring strong functional capabilities, closeness to the organisation -who in an unbiased fashion builds a strong cultural fundament based on our values. Acts as a strong role model of Hilti’s Core Values, while also ensuring that leadership across the organization understands these values, lives and models these values. Cooperation with unions, ensuring we act according to our legal requirements in Sweden and our Hilti values and staying up to date on all legislative changes that occur within the Swedish labour market. The HR Director leads and co-owns all talent management initiatives that take place across the market organization. This role collaborates with Regional HR teams to establish effective talent pipeline plans, succession for critical roles and is the main point of contact for all talent frameworks and programs within the Swedish market organization. This role is expected to bring forward a vision of how to build, buy and borrow talent that will fundamentally support current and future business needs on a continuous basis with strong collaboration with various stakeholders. Develop pipeline of HR talents for the Region and globally by balancing operational local needs with mid to long term HR talent needs within the region and globally, supporting the Regional HR Leadership Team across Northern Europe.What You’ll BringYour Profile: Functional Expertise:Proven, successful experience as a senior HR Professional in a commercially driven organisation. 5-7 years of Leadership experience is required; you will be leading a team directly but also indirectly. Educated to University Degree level with post graduate HR qualification. Functional expertise in Swedish Labour law is a requirement. Proven success in driving HR topics including employee engagement, employee relations, talent management and recruitment. Strategic mindset with ability to partner with key stakeholders in the business, while driving the business from an operational perspective. Superior presentation and communication skills with ability to influence and interact across all levels of management. International mobility for longer term career progression outside of Sweden. Interest in expanding knowledge outside of the HR function e.g. Sales, Marketing. English language skill in addition to Swedish. Ability to work successfully in a process driven organisation, with courage to challenge the status quo. Understanding the Business: Experience from B2B and sales company is an attribute (considered an asset) Understands the business reasons behind our strategy and link it to daily work. Ability to influence employee and customer satisfaction positively. Ability to develop full understanding of (Hilti) HR processes and procedures. Understanding and defining what needs to be done: Ability to define key topics, priorities short and long term to build a strong organisation. Develop an excellent understanding of the requirements and challenges for the business, while acquiring a strong knowledge of the current marketplace and building direct relationships with external VIP customers. Getting things done Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and achieve superior results within the deliverable timeframe. Demonstrates resilience to face challenging and critical situations in a constructive and decisive manner, dealing with internal and external business partners. Strong planning and prioritising skills with the ability to easily differentiate between critical vs. non-critical issues for the business. Working with others: Shows empathy, unbiased ability to handle conflict in a positive and constructive manner while demonstrating active listening to understand. A successful incumbent will be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, maintain impartiality while supporting people related topics to come to informed decisions that move the business forward. Developing yourself and others: Strong ability to self-reflect and good learning agility-take responsibility for own actions in the business. Proactively seeks and provides constructive feedback. Acts as a senior member of the HR team; shares knowledge and experience while coaching and mentoring other team members.
