The ideal candidate will support various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. Additionally, as the Personal Assistant to the CEO, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support, ensuring the CEO’s time is optimized and daily business operations run smoothly.This position is best suited for someone who has hands-on experience in Canadian HR practices and is passionate about building a positive workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processesMaintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment standardsAssist with payroll coordination and benefits administrationSupport employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary processesDevelop and update HR policies and standard operating proceduresPlan and execute employee engagement and training initiativesPrepare HR-related reports and assist management with day-to-day HR operationsManage and organize the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and meetingsHandle correspondence, emails, and communication on behalf of the CEOCoordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and accommodationsPrepare reports, presentations, and meeting materialsLiaise with internal teams, clients, and external partners professionallyTrack action items, deadlines, and follow-ups on key business initiativesMaintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretionSupport event planning, scheduling, and logistics as requiredQualificationsMinimum 2 years of Human Resources & Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant experience in CanadaPost-secondary education in Human Resources from a Canadian institutionStrong understanding of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practicesExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); HR software experience is an assetStrong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
