The HR Generalist acts as a proactive partner to the leadership team and associates across all areas of Human Resources. This position is the central HR process hub for AMB Sports and Entertainment business units. The focus areas include employment compliance, orientation, scheduling, associate events, and partners with finance for invoices. This role views associates as internal customers and works diligently to add value at the individual and organizational level.Roles And ResponsibilitiesWork with HRBPs to support client needs at MBSHandle unemployment and state compliance related to unemployment reportingCreatively communicate with associates always reinforcing our core values and strengthening our cultureAct as a project coordinator with all HR initiatives and projects; partner with Director – HR Operations, Director – Associate Training & Engagement, HR Business Partners, HRIS Analytics Manager, and Benefits & Wellness ManagerGenerate, maintain, and communicate HR project calendarManage invoices and upkeep HR budgetAssist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy developmentEnsure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessaryPartner with leaders to plan, coordinate, and execute associate eventsOwn the HR event calendar to ensure appropriate coverage for each facilityReview and analyze gaps with current HR processes and present efficient solutions to the HR teamResearch HR trends to ensure federal and state complianceQualifications and Education Requirements:A bachelor’s degree requiredA minimum of 3-5 years of exempt-level HR experienceHR certification preferredRequired Skills:Highly analytical with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesProject management skills including strategic thinking, planning and organizingAttention to detail and dedication to qualityHR technical expertiseExceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skillsOrganizational savvy and relationship building skillsOutstanding customer service including ability to serve, lead and influence across all levelsAbility to maintain high levels of confidentiality and build trustSeasoned judgmentHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new software or programs quickly
