We offer competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and opportunities for training and career development.Description of responsibilities: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for administering key HR functions including recruitment and onboarding processes, training, maintaining HRIS, DOT random drug testing, and assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth HR operations and compliance with regulatory requirements. Required experience: 3+ years of applicable HR generalist experience; ideally in a union environment. Utility or municipality experience a plus. Required skills:  Thorough knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across multiple HR disciplines. Specifically, recruitment, onboarding, training, and compliance Ability to manage projects from start to finish Ability to analyze data for statistics and trendsThorough knowledge of HRIS system to maintain employee information and run reportsKnowledge of DOT testing policy and procedureStrong written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize and manage multiple, time-sensitive priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and ATS.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentialityDevelop and maintain positive relationships with employees, management, and external partners  Required Education:Associates degree and three (3) years of applicable HR experience; bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of education, experience, and demonstrated knowledge in Human Resources.
