Follows-up on personnel actions/status change transactions.Advises, interprets and provides direction and coaching to management and staff on Casino policies and procedures.Works with HR Department staff to improve and streamline recruiting, interviewing, benefits administration, and other HR processes and procedures.Assists in administering progressive discipline policy and procedures. Reviews and approves disciplinary actions for legal and policy compliance and fair treatment.Develops and interprets personnel policies consistent with the direction provided by the HR Manager.Advises and counsels management and supervisors regarding Team Members performance management and appraisal process.Participates in confidential investigations of complex Team Member relations issues.Conducts other investigations as needed.Works with supervisors and Team Members to resolve Team Member relations issues and improve productivity and organizational performance.Prepares and represents Casino at unemployment hearings.Delivers excellent guest service—in person, on the phone, through correspondence.Reviews processes and process documentation and works as part of a team recommending process improvements, automation opportunities, system improvements, cost saving and customer service initiatives.Coordinates the Casino EAP program including mandatory Employee Referrals for D&A Policy violations, NRWC behavioral policies and voluntary Employee use.Manages the relationship with the urine analysis (UA) vendors, oversees the UA process for random testing, reasonable suspicion, pre-employment and post-accident.Conducts UAs as required.Supervise the HR Department in the absence of the HR Manager.Directly supervises assigned HR staff.Oversees administrative tasks and programs.Perform other duties as assigned.NATIVE AMERICAN HIRING PREFERENCE
