With a focus on delivering tailored solutions, Promateus strives to drive innovation and lasting value for its clients.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role (occasional travel to client site) for a Human Resources Information System Analyst based in Calgary, AB, with some remote work flexibility. The HRIS Analyst will manage, maintain, and optimize human resources information systems to support business needs. Key responsibilities include handling system configurations, analyzing HR data, improving business processes, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting employee benefits processes. The role also includes liaising with stakeholders to ensure system functionality aligns with organizational objectives.1. Collaborate with HR and other departments to gather requirements, translating them into system specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives.2. Lead and manage HRIS or technology implementation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.3. Design, configure, and customize HRIS platforms, setting up workflows, user roles, permissions, and reporting structures tailored to organizational needs.4. Conduct thorough testing of HRIS solutions, including user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system functions correctly and meets all specifications.5. Evaluate existing HR processes, identify inefficiencies and improvement areas, and implement automation solutions to streamline operations.6. Develop comprehensive training programs and materials, delivering both online and in-person sessions to ensure end-users are proficient in using the HRIS.7. Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and facilitating change management strategies.QualificationsAnalytical Skills and the ability to synthesize and interpret data effectivelyProficiency in Human Capital Management and Employee Benefits processesExperience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and related technologiesBusiness Process knowledge and the ability to streamline workflowsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fieldExperience in technology implementations or systems integration is a plusBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in HRIS or HR technology implementation, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.Proficiency in HRIS platforms (preferably Tier 1 ERPs) and project management tools.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.Experience with cloud-based HR solutions and integrations is preferred.Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
