Job SummaryThe HR Manager will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, training and development, HR policy implementation, and compliance with labor laws. The role requires strong experience in managing HR operations in a textile manufacturing environment with a focus on workforce planning, employee retention, and organizational development.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.Support organizational restructuring and workforce planning for production and non-production departments.Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionManage end-to-end recruitment for management, supervisory, and labor positions.Coordinate hiring for bulk positions related to production, stitching, processing, weaving, and warehousing.Employee Relations & ComplianceEnsure a positive work environment and handle grievance management professionally.Maintain compliance with local labor laws, industrial relations regulations, and company policies.Liaise with government bodies, labor unions (if applicable), and external agencies.Performance ManagementOversee performance appraisal processes and align them with KRA/KPIs tailored to textile operations.Develop improvement plans and track employee progress.Training & DevelopmentIdentify training needs and coordinate technical and soft-skills development programs.Lead capacity-building initiatives for production teams and management staff.Compensation & BenefitsMonitor payroll procedures and employee compensation structures.Recommend revisions based on industry benchmarks and performance.HR Policies & DocumentationDevelop, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.Maintain accurate HR records and reports.Health, Safety & WelfareCollaborate with HSE department to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.Promote health and well-being initiatives.People ManagementGuide and mentor the HR team across all functions.Promote a high-performance culture and maintain high employee engagement.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.5–8 years of experience in HR, preferably in the textile/manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of labor laws, IR, payroll systems, and HRIS tools.Experience of handling large workforce in core manufacturing units is highly preferred.Key SkillsStrong leadership and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in HR metrics, workforce analysis & reportingProblem-solving and conflict resolutionKnowledge of OSHA/HSE complianceAbility to work in fast-paced production environments
