Wes is equally comfortable in a Bay Street boardroom or mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, and he has assembled a multidisciplinary team to scale his vision across industries and markets.Your Role:We are seeking an experienced and versatile Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function at our corporate office and provide HR advisory support to some of the portfolio companies.This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role responsible for developing and implementing practical, business-aligned HR programs that support organizational growth, compliance, and employee engagement across a diverse range of industries.The ideal candidate is a trusted HR partner who is hands-on — someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys building structure and culture in growing organizations.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Corporate HR Oversee HR operations for the firm, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, and employee relationsAdminister compensation, benefits, and incentive programs; coordinate payroll and ensure compliance with employment standardsDevelop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legislation and company valuesPortfolio Company SupportPeriodically support portfolio companies in providing HR advice, employee relations matters, performance management systems, benefits, and compliance practicesFacilitiesOversee and back-up the facilities function at the corporate office, including building maintenance, events management, and receptionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplineCHRP or CHRL designation preferredMinimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including both strategic and operational responsibilitiesExperience within a professional services environmentStrong understanding of Canadian employment legislationProven track record in developing and implementing HR programs within small to mid-sized organizationsExceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levelsHigh degree of professionalism, discretion, and business acumenStrong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skillsEntrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach and the flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesEquity Statement:WeShall Investments is committed to creating and sustaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
