About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of HR operations for our client who are a retail brand in the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the regional market, retail dynamics, and people engagement practices that reflect the brand’s premium culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and brand values.Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on all people-related matters, including performance, talent development, and employee engagement.Oversee the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent, particularly for boutique and head office roles.Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with UAE labour law and fostering a positive work environment.Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices consistent with the brand’s standards.Drive performance management processes, supporting managers with goal setting, reviews, and development plans.Support training and development initiatives to strengthen leadership capability and enhance customer experience.Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to ensure alignment on compensation, benefits, and brand culture.Lead or support HR projects including employer branding, succession planning, and organizational development.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (CIPD qualification preferred).6–8 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.Proven experience within retail, fashion or beauty is highly preferred.Strong understanding of UAE labour law and local HR practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Hands-on, adaptable, and people-focused, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.Fluent in English. An additional language is seen as very advantageous.
