The hotel’s proximity to St. Mark’s Square, its exceptional culinary offerings featuring a rich variety of Italian cuisine, and its unique combination of event spaces invite guests to create truly memorable experiences.Role DescriptionAs Human Resources Manager, you will support the General Manager and hotel leadership in all strategic, organizational, and operational people matters, ensuring the alignment of our HR practices with the hotel's goals of Quality, Performance, and Compliance. This role is both strategic and hands-on, covering talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR operations, and legal compliance in a luxury hospitality environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a business partner to the General Manager and advisor to the hotel leadership team on all HR-related mattersLead and support the strategic HR agenda with a focus on attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining top talentOversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, administration, payroll, employee housing, and complianceDevelop and execute innovative recruitment strategies, while maintaining a strong employer brand in the local and international marketDrive employee engagement through communication, feedback channels, events, and proactive handling of grievancesDesign and implement competitive compensation and benefits structures based on market analysisPrepare and manage the annual HR budget and manning guide; track personnel costs and reportingEnsure compliance with local labor and immigration laws, and manage disciplinary procedures when necessaryImplement global talent management, performance management, and succession planning tools and processesCoordinate the rollout of corporate HR initiatives, including HR systems, tools, and training programsLead and develop the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performanceWhat We’re Looking ForEducation & Experience:University degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related fields (required)Master’s degree or professional HR certification is a plusMinimum 5 years of experience in HR leadership roles within the luxury hospitality industryMinimum 2 years leading HR teams in similarly sized organizationsProven experience working within the Italian labor market and legal frameworkLanguages:Fluency in Italian (spoken and written) – requiredFluency in English (spoken and written) – requiredAdditional languages are a plusKey Competencies:Deep knowledge of local labor and immigration laws, policies, and HR best practicesExperience in all core HR areas: talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and complianceStrategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR strategies and initiativesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence and coach senior leadersHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)What We OfferA leadership role at one of the most iconic and exclusive resorts in EuropeOpportunity to work in a historic property surrounded by art, culture, and heritageCompetitive salary and benefits packageOn-property benefits including accommodation & mealsSupportive and international team environmentOpportunities for professional development and career growthReady to lead HR at San Clemente Palace Venice?Apply now by sending your CV and cover letter to: recruitment@sanclementepalace.it
