At Hertz we drive a ‘One Team’ culture which means at Hertz you will be exposed to all our different brands and be a part of a global multibrand team.What is this role all about?The HR Officer role is a diverse, hands-on position responsible for providing practical HR advice and first-line support across the corporate business. Reporting to the Senior HR Director APAC and working as part of the APAC HR team, you will support day-to-day HR activities and contribute to delivering a consistent, positive employee experience. This role offers the opportunity to further develop strong HR generalist capabilities within a collaborative regional environment.Core responsibilities include:Provide responsive sound advice to managers on a wide range of employee relation matters.Facilitate cyclical business activities including employee performance reviews, compensation cycles and culture surveys.Support the implementation of the HR strategic plan and be actively involved in those projects.Coordinate and support the recruitment processes and activities for corporate head office.Support annual people initiatives in line with agreed calendar.Payroll and HRIS system support.Workplace health and safety.Run annual franchise audit program.Ad hoc team support as needed.What do we need from you?This position will suit a candidate that enjoys a fast paced, diverse business and possesses the following skills and experience:Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce or Business.2 years minimum experience in a HR position that demonstrates your ability to take the next step in your HR career.Understanding of the Fair Work Act (AU) and applicable legislation that applies within the workplace.Skilled at addressing employee matters pragmatically and professionally.Skilled at influencing and building relationships of trust with key stakeholders.Experience working in a fast paced environment.Flexibility with AU and NZ travel.At Hertz we pledge to provide a safe and supportive work environment for everyone.
