You'll be responsible for supporting older people and people with disabilities remain living at home by providing domestic assistance in a respectful, and client focussed manner. What you’ll be doing: Domestic Assistance, including house cleaning, laundry, bedlinen changing, and shopping assistance.
Undertake these tasks according to the service plan and Direct Care Procedure Manual. Utilise a mobile device (as provided by Council) to read and manage rosters, review service plans and carry out other relevant communication. Monitor and report any concerns during service provision, including concerns about the health, safety, environmental changes and wellbeing of a clientThe skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:
Desire to work in the community in a supportive and hands on roleGood communication skills and demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructionsCurrent Victorian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle during business hours.
