Director of Project Development - BESS - Flexible LocationHave you got experience in leading a high performing project development team in Germany? Are you someone that looks for autonomy in a position? Have you got an entrepreneurial mindset, looking to grow a business forward? If so, please read on. The CompanyA growing Project Developer / IPP of utility-scale BESS projects that have secured 1GW of grid connected projects. Their pipeline as a business is around 10GW. With a multi-gigawatt project pipeline and 1GW already secured with grid connection, the business is backed by significant investment.

As a business there is 3 offices in Germany including one in Munich. The RoleAs Director of Project Development, you will lead and grow a skilled team of project developers, overseeing the progression of a substantial existing pipeline towards ready-to-build status. The role requires implementing strategies to bring new projects to market while managing relationships with municipalities, landowners, and other key stakeholders. Lead a team of 10, with responsibility for around 200+ projects. Drive delivery of at least 1GW of RTB projects and continue to grow the pipeline and execute a strategy.

Collaborate across all areas of project development, from land acquisition to grid connection. Base yourself anywhere in Germany, with only occasional travel to the head office required.
