We're looking for a detail-focused and service-minded Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a fixed-term basis, covering parental leave.
In this role, you'll support the smooth financial operations of Council by ensuring suppliers are paid on time, accurately, and in accordance with policy. Your key responsibilities will include: Accurately processing accounts payable transactions and journal entriesSupporting and encouraging staff to use our Electronic Purchasing Order (EPO) systemFollowing up on purchasing queries, including unmatched POs and receiptingProviding backup support to the Accounts Payable Team Leader as neededMaintaining accurate financial data and documentationDelivering excellent service to internal and external customersAbout YouYou'll be someone who enjoys working with systems and processes, and who takes pride in providing excellent service to others.
