HV Technical Lead2 year fixed term contractLocation: CharleroiThis position involves responsibility for directing the delivery of high voltage electrical systems within major infrastructure or building environments. The role encompasses coordination across engineering disciplines to ensure safe, timely, and compliant execution of complex electrical works. There is a focus on professional autonomy, leadership development, and maintaining excellence across all technical outputs.Key Functions:• Governance of the full HV project cycle, including technical design oversight, construction interface, compliance management, commissioning, and final acceptance. • Facilitation of collaboration across internal teams and external partners, maintaining clear communication and alignment of priorities. • Deployment of structured analytical methods to resolve technical and delivery challenges. • Assurance of compliance with regional electrical standards, legislation, and operational parameters associated with high voltage networks. • Coordination with utilities, design bodies, construction contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the lifecycle. • Administration of project approvals, design review protocols, and documentation control. • Identification, evaluation, and mitigation of operational and construction risks. • Enforcement of safety and quality frameworks aligned with established HV environmental and occupational requirements.Candidate Attributes:• Demonstrable track record in the delivery of HV systems for complex or large-scale project environments. • Professional grounding in engineering or construction with specific exposure to energy infrastructure or high voltage installations. • Knowledge of commissioning methodologies, utility integration processes, and electrical safety governance. • Strong stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences. • Highly organised, diligent, and driven to uphold the highest standards of safety and performance.
