HVAC Engineer

HVAC EngineerMy client provides applied HVAC products for data centres, typically air handling units and chilled water systems. They are looking for a Lead Engineer based in Ireland to visit customer sites to assist with the commissioning, fault finding and after-care of equipment installations. The role will also involve 20% travel to Europe and the UKPackage:Total earnings in the region of €80,000 - €90,000Base salary in the region of €60,00040 hours per week plus over-time paid at 1.5x rateUnsociable hours bonus €4,000Travel and vehicle allowanceRequirements:Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or an Electrician with strong AHU, chiller and controls experienceStrong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including cooling, ventilation, and air distributionFamiliarity with commissioning processes, test procedures, and relevant standardsKey Responsibilities:Perform commissioning, testing, and validation of HVAC systems within data centresConduct functional performance testing and system calibrationTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systemsPrepare and review commissioning documentation, including reports and testing recordsCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systemsEnsure compliance with safety and industry regulationsProvide training and technical support to site teams as needed
