HVAC Lead

Blackfield Associates are currently partnered with a global pharmaceutical manufacturer to support their search for a HVAC Lead to join their project based in Kalundborg on an initial 12-month contract.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all HVAC engineering activities across design, installation, commissioning, and qualification phases.Oversee HVAC system integration within cleanroom and GMP environments, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of HVAC systems.Review and approve HVAC design documentation, specifications, and technical submittals.Support troubleshooting and resolution of HVAC-related issues during construction and commissioning.Ensure HVAC systems meet performance criteria for temperature, humidity, pressure differentials, and air change rates.Participate in risk assessments, HAZOPs, and design reviews.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and site teams.Support validation and qualification activities related to HVAC systems.Experience RequiredSufficient experience in HVAC engineering in a lead role on large-scale pharmaceutical or biotech projects.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems in GMP environments, including cleanroom design and operation.Experience with HVAC commissioning, balancing, and qualification.Familiarity with Danish building codes and EU regulatory standards.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering; professional certification is a plus.Fluent in English
