Please find out more about our world leading technology at www.hitachienergy.com/HVDC.You will be part of the Hitachi Energy HVDC Installation Department, which is responsible for execution of all mechanical and electrical installation activities in our delivery projects across the world. The department also support tendering and sales in providing technical input, and the department aids the engineering office in developing the design.As HVDC Valve site supervisor you must be willing to travel far, frequently and on short notice. You also must be a European citizen.We are interested to learn more about you and what you can contribute with, so please apply even if you don’t meet all requirements!  How You Will Make An ImpactYour main mission will be to supervise installation of HVDC Valve and Valve Cooling system on site in high voltage global projectsHands-on work in terms of Maintenance and Service on the HVDC ValvesPreparation and planning of installation activities in early project stagesManage and guide subcontractors on site to ensure completion of all installation activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirementsContribute to planning and implementation of installation activities on site and maintain good relationships to internal and external suppliersCoordinate the installation activities with the Site Manager/Installation Manager and other internal and external stakeholders on siteCoordinate with engineering office to assure needed documentation is used at site during execution and provide mark-ups for as-built project documentationYou will be living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business Your background You have a technical education, preferably with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
