HW Group Manager

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Hardware Group Manager to take ownership of our hardware development activities, delivering innovative technology solutions in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary R&D environment at the forefront of radar sensing. In this leadership role, you will guide the development of our next-generation mm-wave radar for safety-critical railway applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HW expert with proven leadership experience, who enjoys driving technical innovation while building and inspiring a high-performing engineering team. This is a hybrid position in our Rehovot office.What You’ll Be Doing:Lead hardware development from concept to production, ensuring quality, cost, and timelineManage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of engineers (board design, embedded, antenna)Drive the design and bring-up of RF boards (mm-wave 80GHz)Debug and validate RF, Analog and Digital designsConduct and lead design reviews, including outsourced activitiesLead integration activities of RF and Digital boardsSupport PCB manufacturing, assembly, and test processesEnsure proper documentation (SOW, PDR, CDR, BOM, ATP, etc.)Collaborate closely with radar algorithm, software, and system engineering teamsRequirements:B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (M.Sc. preferred)6+ years in hardware design including schematics capture, PCB layout constraints, bring-up, design validation, and mechanical integrationAt least 2 years’ direct management experience leading multi-disciplinary hardware teamExcellent knowledge of DC/DC switching power supply including linear regulatorsExperience in SI/PI for high-speed designsHands-on experience with lab equipment (logic analyzer, oscilloscope, VNA)Experience in embedded development for board bring-up and low-level driversUnderstanding of FPGA architecture, design flow, and verification processesAgile/Scrum development environment experienceFamiliarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASIL, SIL) is an advantageExperience in electro-optical system design is an advantageRadar experience in mm-wave spectrum is a major advantage
