Job DescriptionDeveloping and Implementing Hygiene Protocols: Designing and putting into practice hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures to comply with health and safety regulations. Inspections and Audits:

Conducting regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify and address potential hygiene breaches and ensure adherence to established protocols. Staff Training and Education: Training and educating staff members on proper hygiene practices, safe food handling techniques , waste disposal procedures, and relevant regulations. Waste Management: Monitoring and managing waste disposal systems, including hazardous materials, to minimize contamination risks and ensure environmentally responsible practices. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of inspections, training sessions, and compliance efforts, and generating reports for management and regulatory bodies. Liaison with External Agencies:

Collaborating with external agencies, such as laboratories, government health departments, and auditors, on matters related to sanitation and hygiene. Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement: Addressing hygiene-related concerns, investigating incidents, and proactively identifying ways to enhance existing protocols and promote a culture of cleanlinessQualificationsA bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Food Science, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in hygiene and sanitation, particularly within the relevant industry (hospitality, food processing, or camp management). The ability to effectively communicate, train, and motivate staff members. Meticulousness in inspecting and monitoring hygiene standards is crucial.

The capacity to organize tasks, prioritize effectively, and address challenges proactively is important. A strong understanding of the specific hygiene principles, practices, and regulations pertinent to the workplace is necessary.
