Job Title: Hydraulic & Pneumatic TechnicianLocation: Pretoria, Gauteng Company: FOCI Group (Pty) Ltd Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract (Tender Project-Based)About the RoleFOCI Group is seeking a skilled Hydraulic & Pneumatic Technician to join our engineering team for upcoming industrial and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge and practical experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems, supporting maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities across diverse operational environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Diagnose and repair faults in special service lubrication systems.Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure optimal system performance.Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and hydraulic circuit diagrams.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.Maintain accurate service records and report on maintenance activities.Minimum RequirementsQualification: N4 Diploma (minimum) in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.Experience: At least 5 years of proven hands-on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems.Demonstrated outstanding technical and general experience within industrial or plant-based environments.Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic principles, pressure control systems, and maintenance best practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.Preferred AttributesTrade Test (Millwright/Fitter) or equivalent qualification.Experience in industrial automation, process control, or fluid power systems.Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.Commitment to safety and compliance with relevant SANS/ISO standards.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit the following:Detailed CV outlining relevant qualifications and experience.Copies of academic certificates and trade test (if applicable).At least two professional references.Email applications to: careers@foci.group
