Hydrologist Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Company: Zawaya Albina Engineering ConsultancyResponsibilities:Prepare and implement hydrological and hydraulic studies for various projects (master plans, industrial zones, residential areas, roads, and wadis).Analyze rainfall and surface runoff data using standard hydrological and hydraulic modeling software such as: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, WMS, Hyfran, Global Mapper, Hydraulic Design tools, and others.Develop flood maps, drainage plans, and identify potential flood hazard zones.Participate in the preparation of integrated hydrological and geotechnical study reports.Coordinate with the GIS team to link study results with spatial data and mapping outputs.Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals and final reports for governmental authorities.Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in hydrological and hydraulic studies within Saudi Arabia.Proficiency in the following software: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Global Mapper, WMS, Hydraulic Design, and others.Strong knowledge of stormwater management and flood protection design standards in accordance with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs guidelines.Registered member of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).Excellent skills in technical reporting and proposal preparation.Proven experience in dealing with municipalities and governmental authorities for technical report approvals.
